Job Description

DOCUMENTATION OF TRADE FINANCE OPERATIONS

Responsible for end to end execution of structured trade deals with banks

Responsibilities

DOCUMENTATION OF TRADE FINANCE OPERATIONS

Responsible for end to end execution of structured trade deals with banks

Liaise with banks for any LC negotiation, confirming or discounting of trade documents,

Confirmation, Settlement of Interest Rate Swaps

Monitor, review and execute trade finance structure, documentation to ensure smooth execution.

Maintain frequent customer contact with internal and external customers / counterparts

Monitor and manage customer relationships via database spreadsheets,

Liaise with other regional teams on until closure of transactions· Knowledge of Interest Rate Hedging

Experience

Qualifications

Diploma or University Degree holder

· Good PC skills and ability to learn internal systems

· Knowledge of MS Excel and Word

· Knowledge of Incoterms and International trade and be able to apply to daily operations when required

· Good knowledge of letter of credit - UCP rules & ISBP, its terms and differences

· Able to prepare full set of shipping documents in accordance with L/C and contractual requirements

· Able to identify and solve day-to-day problems independently

· understanding of commodity trading will be an added advantage

· Keen eye for details and meticulous

· Team player with good inter-personal skills

· Good analytical and decision making skills
