Job Description

The Supply Chain Analyst at Olam Agri plays a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our supply chain operations through advanced data analysis and reporting. This position is instrumental in providing actionable insights that influence strategic planning, operational adjustments, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will leverage quantitative data to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization across procurement, inventory management, logistics, and customer service performance.

Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including supply chain leadership, operations managers, and finance professionals, the analyst will ensure that data-driven decisions support the organization’s objectives of cost reduction, improved service levels, and streamlined processes. This role demands a high level of proficiency in supply chain analytics tools, data visualization platforms, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and presentations tailored for diverse stakeholders.

In addition to routine data tracking and reporting, the Supply Chain Analyst contributes to forecasting efforts, scenario modeling, and risk assessments to proactively address supply chain challenges. By continuously monitoring key performance indicators and maintaining data integrity, the analyst ensures that management has reliable information for informed decision-making. Responsibilities

Collect and analyze comprehensive supply chain data spanning procurement, inventory levels, logistics operations, and service quality metrics.
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and management information system (MIS) reports to provide clear visibility on supply chain performance.
Monitor key performance indicators such as inventory turnover rates, order fill rates, supplier lead times, and logistics cost efficiency.
Identify operational inefficiencies and emerging trends, recommending practical improvements to enhance overall supply chain effectiveness.
Support the supply chain planning process by contributing to demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and scenario analysis.
Ensure accuracy and consistency of supply chain data by aligning analysis with ERP and other operational system data sources.

Experience

3 to 6 years of experience in supply chain analytics, operations analysis, or planning roles Experience in agri business, poultry, food, or FMCG supply chains preferred

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Analytics, Economics, or related field MBA , Postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain, Operations, or Analytics is an added advantage
