We produce a range of quality pasta, semolina and flours for bread, baguettes, biscuits & confectionaries. With strong regional presence in this category across Nigeria, Senegal, Cameroon and Ghana, we produce high quality flour to meet the growing demand for wheat-based products popular amongst African consumers. Our leading brands, Mama Gold Crown Premium Pasta and Supreme Semolina in Nigeria, First choice in Ghana and Senegal and Bijou in Cameroon, comply with the stringent requirements of the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and those of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).

Job Description

The Supply Chain Head at Olam Agri is responsible for leading and managing the end to end supply chain operations to ensure efficient, cost effective, and timely flow of materials, inputs, and products across the business. The role oversees planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution functions while ensuring alignment with production, farm, hatchery, and commercial teams. The Supply Chain Head plays a critical role in strengthening supply reliability, optimizing costs, improving service levels, and supporting Olam Agri s business growth and operational excellence objectives

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee end to end supply chain operations including demand planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution Develop and implement supply chain strategies, policies, and SOPs aligned with Olam Agri s business goals and operational requirements Ensure seamless coordination with farm operations, hatcheries, production, quality, and commercial teams to support uninterrupted operations Monitor and optimize inventory levels, logistics costs, supplier performance, and service levels through data driven decision making Lead supplier sourcing, contract negotiations, vendor performance management, and risk mitigation initiatives Build, mentor, and develop supply chain teams while driving continuous improvement, automation, and best practices

Experience

15 to 20 years of experience in supply chain management Minimum 5 to 7 years in senior leadership roles such as Supply Chain Head or Operations Head Experience in agri business, poultry, food, or FMCG supply chains preferred Exposure to large scale, integrated, or multinational operations is an advantage

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management or Bachelors Degree in Agriculture , Veterinary Sciences with supply chain exposure Postgraduate qualification (MBA , PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, or Logistics) is an added advantage
